All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Apart from the scholastic activities students are encouraged to join and actively participate in various clubs, cultural and literary activities. Apart from club of various departments, there are also social service clubs like NSS, and activities of Nallapadom. We also have a little kites unit for our little stars of standard eight, nine & ten.

School Parliament;

A good exposure is given to students in leadership and organizing capability every year by democratically electing student leaders for the school parliament. They are given the responsibility of helping the teachers in the conduct of the Arts Festival, School anniversary etc.

Arts

The Arts club which is part of the school parliament is very active and provides a big platform to expose all the talents and give equal opportunities to all the students to bring up their skills in every creative perspective. Apart from the school arts fest, there are a lot of competitions such as the sub- district level, district level and state level  events in which the school has actively participated and won championships.

Sports

The school also encourages students to participate in the different sports and athletic championships at the secondary and higher secondary level.

NSS

There are two units of NSS functioning in the school. One is the regular unit and the other is the self financing unit. Both the units are buoyant and bustling with activities thereby helping in the overall development of the personality of the students. Yearly residential camps is an enriching experience in the life of the students. The NSS has won many accolades such as the best unit in the IHRD and the coveted first prize in the short film competitions organized by the Malabar cancer centre.

Nallapadom

Nallapadom is an initiative of the Malayala Manorama which encourages students to lend a helping hand to the poor and needy as well as encouraging students to actively participate in various activities beneficial to the school, students and the neighbourhood.

Little Kites:

We also have a little kites unit for our little stars of standard eight, nine & ten. An initiative by the KITES, Government of Kerala helps the students to gain on hands training on animation, programming, web page designing and creating different apps..etc.
